Our Team
Rob Lothian
After years supporting Family Entertainment Center vendors and owners as an installer, I ventured into sales, business development, and marketing in 1999. My global travel experience, construction expertise, and client management skills drove my success. My unique hands-on perspective enabled me to sell and design practical, child-centered playgrounds.
Switching to sales, I excelled at listening rather than persuading. Understanding clients’ needs, I designed iconic projects like a 20ft gorilla wrestling a snake slide, an arctic wildlife water park for MSC cruise lines, and a Minute Maid stadium replica for the Houston Astros. This creative sales approach cemented my industry reputation.
Broadening my expertise across firms like Prime Play Systems, Delta Play Company, and Koala Corporation, I honed my skills. Joining IPlayCO in 2015, I thrived through industry contacts and experience. After a tenure at White Water West, the largest waterpark company, I collaborated with Bill at Orca Coast Playground, but our visions diverged, leading me back to a reinvigorated IPlayCO.
Eager for my creative journey, I founded Lothian Industries Inc. in 2023. We excel in developing attraction networks, delivering exceptional family entertainment center designs and installations, and optimizing revenue through consultation on FEC facility layout and throughput management. Our goal is to create sought-after indoor playgrounds and adventure parks where customers continually return for endless excitement and fun.
